Hello Again!!
We have officially started our French adventure!! Jarred is in Paris. He is exhausted with no luggage. The kids and I are not going for a few weeks to let him get settled. So, to keep the kids distracted from him leaving we have been going nonstop since Friday morning. We have had a sleep over with friends and been coat shopping for the little princess. In the process we found little man a pair of winter boots for a STEAL!! He was so excited he kept shouting "NEW BOOTS! NEW BOOTS"! Emma defiantly has picked up on Daddy leaving more than the little man, but they both are going through some adjusting. We are just not a family that is separated very often.
Seeing what all Jarred is going through getting over there and getting adjusted with no luggage does make me thankful we are going later. He has no phone, because the international phone was in the suitcase. So, we are only communicating through Skype and Facebook and with the time difference even that is a little tricky. He is in good spirits and he has a smile on his face when we talk on Skype. I think him not worrying about me and the kids is making his adjustment time a little easier.
For the next few weeks I am going to try to keep the kids on their school routine during the day and on visiting overload in the evenings to get this time to just fly.
Until Next Time,
Megan

Hello All!!
I have been wanting to create a blog for quite some time and I have finally found a great excuse to start one!! We are going to be moving to Paris!! Not Arkansas...France! My husband's job is moving him for several months to their base of operations and we get to go. I am going to be posting so that when I am in my 70s and 80s and can't remember anything maybe I will have a record of our adventures.
We have 2 children that will be going with us. Our daughter (Emma) has just turned 6 she has recently completed official princess training camp and is now convinced she is a "real" princess. Her father and I are pretty sure she is too!! We have a 2 year old son (Scout....not Scott) who has flaming red hair and a full personality to go with it. He loves all things boy... dinosaurs, trucks, tractors, cows, etc.
We are soo excited to start this adventure in our lives! It was not in our 5 or 10 year life plans, but we are going with it and embracing it anyway. Jarred (the husband) and I are both Godly people who trust in his will and we know that his hand has been in this move from the beginning. I cannot go without saying that that does not mean I am still not nervous and scared about the whole idea. I am choosing to walk in his will and follow his direction with faith and JOY throughout every little detail of this adventure. (even the fact that there is no DISHWASHER in our apartment) I have a weird sense of humor about life in general and it is serving me well when preparing for the upcoming move.
So the details...Jarred will be traveling ahead of the kiddos and myself due to work commitments and living arrangement situations. He will get to have the last say in the apartment hunt, which makes me a little nervous. HA! The hope is by the time he gets settled in, the rest of us will be on our way!!
I can't wait to document this adventure and maybe make some blogger buddies along the way!!
