Hello All!!
I have been wanting to create a blog for quite some time and I have finally found a great excuse to start one!! We are going to be moving to Paris!! Not Arkansas...France! My husband's job is moving him for several months to their base of operations and we get to go. I am going to be posting so that when I am in my 70s and 80s and can't remember anything maybe I will have a record of our adventures.
We have 2 children that will be going with us. Our daughter (Emma) has just turned 6 she has recently completed official princess training camp and is now convinced she is a "real" princess. Her father and I are pretty sure she is too!! We have a 2 year old son (Scout....not Scott) who has flaming red hair and a full personality to go with it. He loves all things boy... dinosaurs, trucks, tractors, cows, etc.
We are soo excited to start this adventure in our lives! It was not in our 5 or 10 year life plans, but we are going with it and embracing it anyway. Jarred (the husband) and I are both Godly people who trust in his will and we know that his hand has been in this move from the beginning. I cannot go without saying that that does not mean I am still not nervous and scared about the whole idea. I am choosing to walk in his will and follow his direction with faith and JOY throughout every little detail of this adventure. (even the fact that there is no DISHWASHER in our apartment) I have a weird sense of humor about life in general and it is serving me well when preparing for the upcoming move.
So the details...Jarred will be traveling ahead of the kiddos and myself due to work commitments and living arrangement situations. He will get to have the last say in the apartment hunt, which makes me a little nervous. HA! The hope is by the time he gets settled in, the rest of us will be on our way!!
I can't wait to document this adventure and maybe make some blogger buddies along the way!!

Awesome!! So excited you are doing this!! Can't wait to see all the pictures and adventures!
ReplyDeleteWhat an opportunity to be able to see so many things that many only get to read about. Ghee (Grandmother) is excited for you, but will miss you guys so much. However, these days and times in the 21st century allow us to travel in hours rather than days and weeks as in previous times. So, I see a trip to Paris in my and Papaw's future. Alas, time and money seem to be the limiting factors in today's world for many of us. Grandmere dit oui a la Paris!
